WHITFIELD STONE HOUSE
|
This great stone house was built in 1639 for the Reverend Henry Whitfield, leader of the settlers who founded Guilford. It is believed to be the oldest standing house in Connecticut.
Now a state museum, it contains early English and American furniture and a number of Guilford artifacts.
