HISTORIC HOUSEFITTERS SHOWCASE
The Historic Housefitters Company was originally launched in 1985 with a sampling of hand-forged iron and brass hardware displayed in a 20 catalog. Our emphasis was and still is on our faithful, first rate reproduction and unfailing service. Since then, our catalog has more than doubled to bring you a comprehensive source book for quality Hand-Forged Iron, 18th century Lighting, Brass and Porcelain Hardware and Machine-Forged Iron Hardware.

Norfolk Entrance Thumblatch Set
The Norfolk thumblatch style was a design that was easily adapted to large- scale production. By the 1830’s, these were manufactured in factories by the thousands. There is, however, plenty of evidence that the earliest Norfolk latches were completely hand-wrought, just as the entrance set offered here. A lift knob on the latch bar generally characterizes Norfolk trim sets.
(Please specify door thickness and “standard” or “reverse bevel” trim set. For deadbolt security locks see pages 7 & 52).
