CHANDLER DAVIS'S JELLYFISH
Last issue we featured painting and sculpture by Chandler Davis. During the past three months Chandler has pursued a new inspiration, as he says “to reconstitute the medium of plexiglass” in sculptured jellyfish. “Illuminations,” he calls them, “that represent the spirit.” The jellyfish average 12” in height and are sometimes attached to driftwood Chandler finds along the banks of the Housatonic River. |
