Nah Sunflower,

My almost3 foot cactus sprouting a wave

   of rosy petals up its length

A last early spring snow storm,

  swirls in thick flakes outside the window

Old girlfriends write, like notes from a river

as I find myself alone again

    holding a private faith.

Here in New England. this apartment especially

    lots of overlap
